Starfield fans, get ready for a treat. New mods have been released that add to the game Crysis-like sparks, as well as breakable objects. These mods will enhance your gaming experience. So, make sure to use them if you’re still playing it.
Going into more details, the HPE Better Metal Impact Effects Mod adds more sparks to the game. Moreover, all spark particles now have collisions. Sparks can now bounce, and they can realistically fall to the ground. As such, they will not clip to the terrain.
In a way, this mod reminds me of a Spark Mod that came out for the first Crysis game. Although Crysis had great sparks, it was elevated to new heights with the Spark Mod. In fact, I asked its modder to create an exaggerated version of it for me. After all, I love sparks. Ah, the good old times.
Anyway, this is a mod I highly recommend using. At the end of the video, you can find a couple of videos for it. These videos will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
Modder ‘halrixx’ has also released some other cool mods for Starfield that add breakable objects. Right now, you can download mods that let you destroy the game’s beer crates, mugs, foam containers, and wine glass bottles. These mods will make your fights more interesting in areas that contain these objects.
To be honest, I’d love to see similar mods for pretty much all of the game’s objects. I know this is a huge task, but this is something that will greatly benefit Starfield. So, let’s hope that halrixx will keep working on these types of mods.
Speaking of Starfield, you should also check out these othermods for it. Take, for instance, this mod that adds cool quests when you explore new places. There’s also a mod that makes dead bodies move realistically, as well as a mod that aims to overhaul the game’s enemy AI. In September 2023, we shared the Disk Cache Enabler Mod, which helps reduce how much space the game uses on your computer. There’s also a mod that gives characters super realistic eyes. Halo fans can use this mod to play as the Master Chief himself. Earlier this month, we also shared a DLC-sized expansion mod that allows you to create whole colonies with giant mechs, defense turrets, a farming system and more. Oh, and if you don’t like the default camera views in dialogue, there’s a mod to disable them.
Sprinting Stuttering Fix is another cool mod that stops the annoying stutters when you run. Then, you can grab this mod that makes the game run smoother by fixing a bunch of scripts. Plus, I highly recommend using the Seamless City Interiors Mod. You can also get StarFinance, which brings an advanced financial system. And don’t forget these two must-have mods that make the game look and feel better with a new User Interface and cooler Particle Effects. On the other hand, this mod lets you travel between planets in real-time. We also have this mod, which adds 50 new space encounters to the game. And let’s not forget this Fleet Expansion Mod. Finally, this mod brings a dynamic weather system into the game, and this mod improves the behavior of NPCs.
Lastly, here are all the best Starfield mods you can download.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
